Our CEO, Nelson Ferreira, is an exceptional visionary. Ferreira Construction, which has grown to be a premier contractor in New Jersey, New York, Florida, California and the New England Area; developed as a direct result of his first business endeavor over 30 years ago. With a vision for diversity and growth, Nelson has added to the Ferreira Family of Companies over the years. These additions include Vanguard Energy Partners, American Pile and Foundation, Valiant Power Group, Ferreira Power, and most recently, Valiant Energy Service.
Senior Vice President
Dan Ashmore has over 28 years of experience in the power line industry. As Senior Vice President he provides leadership direction, and guidance to the FPW management team and oversees all operations of the FPW organization. Prior to joining FPW he held several different positions at Henkel’s and McCoy, each with increasing levels of responsibility. Resultantly, he gained experience in almost all aspects of the electrical power contractor business. His past leadership roles include General Foreman, Construction Manager, Operations Manager, Director and Vice President. With a strong operational track record, Dan is seen as a leader in the industry.
Charles “Tray” Roper
Vice President of Operations
Charles “Tray” Roper has over 29 years of experience in the power line industry. As Vice President Tray oversees our distribution, transmission, and substation projects. As a current member and journey lineman with the IBEW, Tray’s experience in the power line industry and hands-on expertise is unparalleled. Tray provides leadership for both technical and administrative functions involving short and long-range planning for Ferreira Power West. His role involves interfacing with assigned construction project/program leaders and for all aspects of the projects from initial budgeting, planning and development.
Landon Kluck is a journeyman lineman with over 25 years of progressive experience in the power line industry. Landon oversees our operations for our distribution, transmission, substations, and foundation work in Northern California. Landon is well-versed in all aspects of operations and brings significant experience in the areas of safety, quality, planning, execution, personnel development, estimating, project management and business development.
Project & Program Management
Brian has more than 15 years of experience related to major multi-year programs as well as large substation, transmission, and distribution projects. His responsibilities include overall project safety, quality control and schedule adherence as well as coordinating and reporting project status on a routine basis. Brian’s sound project management experience demonstrates his value as a dependable and highly proficient operations manager on any project or program in which he is associated.
Senior Project Manager
Donald Wright has over 23 years of experience in the power line industry. Donald drives and influences projects using technical knowledge to deliver projects on time and installs high-quality work to meet customer needs. He oversees project management, project development, scheduling, material and equipment tracking, safety compliance, budgeting and subcontractor management. Donald helps to facilitate all needs between field personnel and project management in order to deliver successful projects which include transmission, substation and distribution.
